"A big Thanks"

About: West Cornwall Hospital (Penzance)

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the amazing staff that looked after me on the evening of 17/1/19 when I came in with some broken ribs. I was seen very quickly with the nurse checking people in recognising that I was struggling to catch my breath.

I was left reassured and was so well looked after that I just wanted to send my thanks now I’m starting to recover.

I would like to say thank you for posting your recent experience of our Urgent Care Centre (UCC). As the Hospital Manager at West Cornwall Hospital (WCH) it is very important to hear the experiences of our service users, regardless of whether these are positive or not. This is the only way we learn as an organisation. It is especially rewarding when the experiences of our service users have been so positive, as was the case with your recent visit.

I am really pleased that the staff in our UCC were able to treat you and provide you with such excellent care and reassurance. I will certainly make sure your comments are shared with the team. I do also hope you continue to make an excellent recovery and wish you well in the future.
