I was bought by ambulance on the night of 28.1.19 to A&E with a broken hip.
The staff at A&E were marvellous.
I was seen to promptly and had various investigations within the first hour or so.
My first ever own experience in A&E or as an in patient and staff gave me the reassurance that I needed.
Staff were kind and friendly. Couldn't fault the department in one single way.
The following morning I had surgery and yet again the entire theatre team were fantastic, despite my anxieties about having surgery, staff made the experience far better than I could have ever imagined. I felt that I was listened to and had everything explained to me in full.
I then stayed on ward 9 for 2 nights where the team were working extremely hard to care for the patients on the ward.
I was grateful for the prompt support from the physios and the OT to enable my discharge.
Thankyou for your care
