What could be improved

I find it disgusting that the registrar I spoke to about the results of my head/neck MRI scan said it would take a week for a letter to be sent to my GP and when I saw my GP on 20/3/12 they had gotten no letter from them at all.

More to the point was that the hospital told me the length of time it would take and when I called my GP to make this week's appointment, the receptionist told me it would take twice that long.

In my opinion, the difference between one week and two weeks is hardly relative.

Thank you for your comment. We are sorry that there was a mix up over the letter getting back to your GP. We take every effort to meet the time scale given by our staff. We are sorry that on this occasion this did not happen, please be reassured that we continually monitor this to improve our service.
