"Ward 29 heartlands"

My Nan was admitted just over a week ago. Care was very poor from day one. Medication times all mixed . Sometimes tablets came before food . When my Nan went down for a scan . She completely missed her afternoon tablets . Hence being in pain for over 6 hrs. Food was bought in . But nearly everyone on the 

ward was incapable of feeding themselves. No one helped . So the food was being taken away. Hence elderly patients not being fed.  Just general lack of care. Very rude receptionist. Having spent a short time in a different hospital with very caring and compassionate nurses. Heartlands you really need to sort yourselves out.  These elderly people are reliant on your help and you are just not quite cutting it !!

I am very sorry to learn of you and your Nan's experience whilst she was an inpatient under the care of ward 29, Heartlands Hospital and the impression that it has left on you.
