About: Furness General Hospital

Anything else?

I reported on 23rd. August 2011 with blood discharging from my back passage was told that I would be examined later that day. This did not take place until a few days later when I was informed I had 2 polyps which had to be removed and checked for cancer but as one was low dawn it would need a general anaesthetic and wouild be done at a later date. I was discharged on 26th August 2011 but had to be readmitted late that day due to a recurrance of the bleeding. On 22nd. September 2011 I was admitted for an internal examination. On 11th. November I was admitted again the removal of the second polyp. On 2nd December 2011 I was again admitted for a full investigation regarding haemorrhoids and was told that I'd be admitted either January of February to be operated upon. The date was eventually fixed for 1st. March 2012 and I received a cancellation of the appointment on 25th February 2012 and told to telephone to re-appoint. This was done on Monday 27th. February 2012 and was amended to 23rd. March 2012. This, again was cancelled and 28th. March 2012 was suggested. Although I accepted I informed the communicant that I was scheduled to go to Spain on 1st. April 2012 and was later contacted to advise that it would not be sensible to accept that date. I have several important appointments between the date of my return and into early May so can this matter be cleared up as soon as possible as it is very embarrassing and painful.
