"Elective Cesarean section"

I had an elective cesarean section in December. For my third baby, this is not what I had anticipated after having two natural births. I was apprehensive about this procedure but the staff in Summerfield ward and the theatre staff put me at ease by explaining everything.  I would like to express my upmost gratitude to Dr Fairley and Dr Wake and their whole team who were absolutely fantastic for safely delivering my baby boy and taking such good care of me. The staff were so friendly and professional and the rapport all the staff had in the theatre room just put me at ease, I knew the care I was receiving was outstanding. 

Thank you also to the midwives on Summerfield ward who looked after me post op. The ward was super busy but all the staff were so friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. I am now six weeks post c-section and feeling fantastic. The healing process was quicker than I anticipated which I’m so thankful for.
