What I liked

I arrived in A&E feeling very unwell and in an enormous amount of pain. I was seen by a nurse almost immediately who was very caring and sympathetic and was very efficient in assessing me. I was taken straight through and within 5 minutes was being seen by a doctor and having tests done.The doctor got my pain under control very quickly and i was starting to feel human again. After a CT scan, a diagnosis and a prescription i was able to go home

I feel i must write and commend all the staff I met that day from the lovely receptionist, nurses, doctor and porters for their efficiency and professionalism, but also the very caring and sympathetic manner in which i was treated by everyone.( and once i was feeling human again, their humor) Please pass on my sincerest thanks to all of them.

I'm sure you already know what a dedicated and professional team you have, a team to be proud of. but equally it is nice to see it in writing.

You're absolutely right - our emergency department team is as dedicated, professional and expert a group of people that you are likely to come across in the NHS. When they read your feedback, they'll probably just say that they were doing what they're trained to do. But we also know that they will be terribly pleased that their efforts have been recognised so publicly. Thank you - we'll make sure that you get to see your kind words and thanks.
