The Consultant and his team are extremely efficient and professional. I am an NHS patient. My GP referred me to him at my request following a recommendation by a friend. I have a long standing severe and chronic lower back condition, which is painful and debilitating. My initial consultation appointment came through very quickly after my GP referral. I was extremely impressed by the Consultant at my initial consultation, as he had all my notes and MRI results, even though I am in a different NHS county and CCG. We discussed treatment options, and decided upon an epidural injection as the only alternative was major spinal reconstructive surgery which carried significant risks. He explained that the injection worked for 2 out of 3 people, and would provide temporary relief.

He booked me in for the procedure there and then, and I received confirmation letter shortly afterwards.

Everything was explained fully.

Upon arrival, I was shown to my private room by the efficient nursing team, and he carried out the procedure shortly afterwards. The procedure was completely painless, and he and his team were extremely attentive. I received my follow up appointment before I was discharged, which I attended today.

My procedure has left me pain free for the first time in 15 years.
