I was admitted through A&E a couple of days before Christmas. All the staff at the A&E department were thoroughly professional & cared for me very well. My pain was managed quickly. I had Xrays, CT & blood tests - all done quickly & with little waiting about.
I was then moved to the emergency assessment unit - the staff in all these departments were friendly & professional. I was then moved to ward 11 - female surgical. The staff on this ward were absolutely brilliant. I received very good care throughout the length of my stay, they were all very professional & friendly & despite being run off their feet a lot of the time.
I had surgery on just before the new year- the theatre staff took good care to look after me & give information & reassurance. The porters were kind & friendly. I was seen by a consultant every day - even Christmas day. I was discharged a few days after my surgery. I can't think that anything could have been done better, I am so impressed. Thank you to all the staff who looked after me so well.
