"Fracture Clinic and General Experience of Hillingdon Hospital"

I agree with the previous patient regarding the non-automatic doors and the disappearing of the Nurse!! It is very difficult to navigate your way around without help. Also, the lack of bed coverings and rushed Staff can be very disconcerting. The general layout is really odd and it is somewhat confusing. Generally, I feel the staff do their best in this clinic.

On the plus side, I have received exemplary care from Mr Vedi - Orthopaedic surgeon and his staff. The day surgery unit staff are excellent and the nurses in recovery were fab.

My experiences as an inpatient on the wards are too lengthy for this medium, but suffice to say I would not want to repeat them.

I have received excellent care from the Haematologist Mr Patel and he has a kindly manner.

The pre-op department are all hardworking with a sense of humour.

Overall, I can see on my many visits to the Hospital the majority of staff try really hard to make a difference and provide an excellent service.
