i escorted my elderly sister for an MRI scan

although i was not present during the scan (in waiting room)

from seeing my sister after the scan who was very distressed and to me in a state of shock (shaking and cold) and in discussion with her the lack of care by the staff on duty in my opinion left a lot to be desired

lack of information on proceedure (apart from introductory letter)

lack of interest in care of patient during and after proceedure

no sympathy or encouragement to eliviate aprehension about proceedure
