What I liked
The staff on the children's ward were great, as were the xray team.
What could be improved
The hospital was dirty. One of the nursing staff advised me not to let my child walk on the floor in barefeet saying she wouldn't let her child walk on this floor. Toilets in A and E weren't clean so I put it down to a busy place full of drunks but when we were transferred to children's ward and a clean room, again the toilet was dirty. There was a chip under the bed. The cleaners mopped round it and used the same mop for toilet floor and round the bed. The chip was still there when we left. When I had my son five years ago there were silver fish on the floor - not much seems to have changed.
Anything else?
I recently stayed in pinderfields and it was clean.
"The staff were great but the hospital is dirty."
