Most impressed and reassured by the friendliness of staff and the quality of care and treatment. I experienced no discomfort or side effects after leaving, and would recommend the gas pain reduction over the sedation which I have had previously. This enabled me first to view the procedure clearly on the monitor, and then to drive home later with no 24 hour restriction of activities.   Standards of hygiene and cleanliness seemed high. Overall, I was very satisfied with a procedure that most of us would contemplate with some anxiety.

Dear Dyker

Thank you for posting your comments on Care Opinion following your recent Colonoscopy. It is so nice to hear that you were satisfied with the care that you received; something we strive to achieve for all our patients.

Although the gas (Entonox) is not suitable for everyone its good to hear that you could carry on your normal activities with no restrictions and more importantly felt comfortable.

I will be sure to pass on your comments to the staff and in particular the domestic staff who work hard at keeping the unit clean.
