"hand surgery"

About: Princess Royal University Hospital (Orpington)

I arrived at A and E on 9th November 2018 and was diagnosed with a dislocated hand and broken wrist.

The consultant reconstructed my hand and wrist, and I am so very grateful and impressed with the fantastic treatment I received.

It was a complicated procedure requiring bone graft, plate and screws and sewing severed tendons and ligaments back together. He has done a wonderful job .

I stayed on Medical Ward 3 for 5 days and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, efficient, responsive and kind.

The ward and other facilities were clean.

the food was restaurant quality.

The outpatients care I am receiving is excellent - I am seen on time, and the staff are helpful and I feel valued.

This is an extremely good hospital.

Thank you so much for sharing your comments and I do hope that your wrist isn't too painful.

How lovely to hear such positive comments and I don't think I've ever heard the food described as 'restaurant quality' so that's fantastic to hear!

I will be sure to pass on your comments to staff in the ED and on Medical Ward 3 - they will be so pleased.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
