The care I have received under Prof. Ong and Dr Simms has been excellent. They are both incredibly knowledgeable about polycystic kidney disease (PKD) which has helped give me confidence in the care I receive from them.

PKD is a genetic condition which my mother and grandfather suffered with so I am very aware of the importance of having a good and trusting relationship with the renal team supporting me as the condition progresses. I have really appreciated the patient information days that have been organised for patients and their families to attend as this helps me to see the progress that has been made in terms of research and treatments that may be available in the future.
