I was referred to the clinic and was seen by a Dr. It was a 1 hour appointment but lasted 15 minutes. She said she can't help me and to go to the clinic in Surbiton or my GP. She said inpatient treatment is too expensive. She can't prescribe me anything and can't treat me.
She had no interest in what I had to say and never listened to what was going on with me. I think they wanted to go to lunch. I do not understand how these cold, rude, dismissive people work in the medical profession. Must be the salary. I bet she charged for the hour too.
Cardiac treatment is expensive too. It says on the NHS website that addiction issues will be treated the same as any medical problem.
Why wasn't I referred straight to the Surbiton which is near where I live. Isn't that a waste of money bouncing me around different areas. They are the people wasting NHS resources and blaming the patients.
This type of treatment is only for the wealthy at private clinics.
These people are supposed to be healers and I left there feeling crushed.
Disgusting!!!!
"What a terrible experience."
