I arrived for my appointment about 10 mins early., received a pleasant, friendly greeting from the receptionist. In the Endoscopy department.
I was taken through to the endoscopy cubicle area, asked politely to change Into the highly trendy surgical gown (sarcasm here), and shortly afterwards a nurse took some details from me and confirmed I understood what procedure I was having. I received an Enema, and received an explanation of what I needed to do when It started to take effect.
Later I was led to the relevant theatre for surgery, spoke to one particular consultant, a very friendly, approachable person, and he undertook the procedure, allowing me to watch as It was undertaken, and explained everything he did throughout the procedure.
Post procedure I changed back Into my clothes and received a verbal Invitation to have a hot drink of my choice.
I would recommend this hospital to anyone, but I think the staff seem very stressed and under a lot of oressure so perhaps an Increase In staff numbers Is required.
"Positive experience"
