i attended the day surgery centre recently and have nothing but praise for every member of staff I met. I had a long wait for my procedure but was constantly kept informed of the situation. I was offered tea and biscuits during the wait, and coffee and toast in the recovery room. The surgeon and junior doctor were friendly, extremely professional and maintained a constant awareness to ensure my comfort. All the theatre staff were again totally professional and kept me informed of what was going on. I was even allowed to select my own choice of music during the procedure; thank you.
I have personal experience of the medical facility in the USA and can honestly say my experience of the NHS since my return is on par with the best the USA has to offer in terms of patient welfare.
