About: BPAS Streatham CC/Clinic

After reading reviews i was terrified about having treatment done at this facility. As soon as i walked in the doors it was completely different to what i was expecting. It was clean, warm and welcoming. Not clinical looking at all wich i was expecting. Yes there is long waiting times wich are expected because of the volume of clients coming through the doors every day. I arrived on the sunday and my appointment was 12 midday and by the time i had my check in admission with the nurse then had my 1st treatment done i had left at 4:45. After my 1st treatment i was took into recovery and was offered water/tea/coffee and a lovely lady was offering light snacks. When they thought i was okay i was told to change into my clothes and be back for 8am the next morning. Next morning there was another wait but not as long as the day before. Before having my 2nd treatment i was very nervous and finding it hard to stay calm and the doctors and assistants were calming me down and telling me i was going to be fine. Next thing i knew i woke up in recovery and had a nurse checking my blood pressure/temp and heart rate. I needed painkillers and was given them straight away and a nice drink of water. Then cleaned up and took to recovery as soon as they were happy that my obs were normal. Again i was offered refreshments..given a blanket and a comfy recliner chair to lie in where my partner could reunite with me. Once i was pain free and a bit more recovered i went to the loo to show the nurses i was able to pass urine then told to get dressed when i felt ready.. waited to be given contraception advice and discharge information about how to take care of myself i was leaving the clinic for about 1pm. All in all i cant thank these lovely people enough for thier help and patience and always being friendly even when they have so many clients to treat every day. This is just for ladies reading the bad reviews like i did and panicked about coming here.. honestly the worst thing to happen is having to wait a while longer than expected so dont make other plans for that day if your going. You can use thier free WiFi and they have magazines and tv in the waiting room so theres something to help pass the time away. Thank you
