"APPAULING"

This is my second visit to Forton surgery . i find the receptionist are not friendly I was in the forton practice today with my husband... the receptionists where not discrete at all talking about patients that are banned from the surgery for strangling a doctor.and talking about other receptionist not doing job right they mentioned the name a few times saying she needs to do her job correct. We watched a patient go to the reception desk to make another appointment he waited 5 minutes whilst the receptionists where talking about a particular patient being barred. He waited five minutes and then walked off he was not acknowledged by any staff member whilst he stood at the desk waiting. I find this very unprofessional and I for one do not want to come to a surgery to hear this. I find it very off putting and very disturbing to see patients leave the surgery as the staff where gossiping to each other. I have tried phoning the surgery this morning regarding my visit unfortunately the lines are busy or I'm number 18 in the queue so will try again another day.
