I had to go to the maxillofacial for wisdom tooth abstraction. Everyone was accommodating from the receptionists to the surgeon. They took into consideration my needs and availability. I had regular calls offering me last minute cancellations (I had opted for this). The anesthesitists, nurses, consultant and surgeon were all fantastic. They provided me with everything I needed to know and explained what was happening every step of the way, which left room for very little questions. I had never been under general anesthetic before and was a little worried, I was so busy chatting away to them that my worries went away. A few deep breaths and I was out like a light. Three nurses looked after me in the theatre recovery ward. All very caring and reassuring when I felt dazed and confused. They looked after me and made sure that my partner was called as soon as I was fit to go so I could get home and get comfortable. The surgeon also came out to check on me, making sure he gave me a debrief of the operation and answered any questions. I would highly recommend QA to friends and family, even with how busy they were on a Tuesday morning they treated me like I was their number one priority. I cannot praise them enough!
"Amazing staff and great care"
