Was drooling out of the left side of my mouth ans slurring words. Went to the GP and was referred to Crosshouse for further assessment. Pre assessed at reception and moved to Acute Stroke Unit where I had much measurement and assessment - all the usual BP, temperature, pulse then breathing , eyesight, relfexes checked. Put on a drip, heparin injection and then peaceful night other than routine disturbance by the doctors and nurses. Sip test 1st thing this morning - passed - so breakfast and drink. Following a shower, chest xray, heart scan, neck scan, ecd and all the previous again.Doctors pleased so hope home tonight.
