"Superb care and service"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

I visited Minor Injuries today with a cut finger caused by trapping between two doors. After a 20 minute wait I was seen by a nurse who examined the wound and recommended I go for an X-ray just to be safe although I commented I did not feel it was broken. After a further 20 minutes I returned from X-ray and was diagnosed with a broken finger!

Finger treated and dressed, antibiotic course obtained for me and advice on care given.

I was on my way in just over an hour.

Care, humour and advice given all the way from reception through x-ray to treatment.

Thank you to all the members of a great team.

Thank you for leaving feedback and although we are sorry you sustained a broken finger, it is great to know you felt supported throughout your visit. This will mean a lot to the Minor Injuries Team who will really appreciate this and be very encouraged by it.

With thanks and all best wishes for your recovery
