"Staff made me feel better about a difficult..."

About: Hemel Hempstead Hospital

What I liked

I went for an X-ray for a suspected broken ankle. Reception staff were very helpful; the radiographer was kind and gentle; the doctor who looked at my X-rays showed them to me, told me what they meant and why I needed to have a plaster; the person who put on my temporary plaster was great, explained what they were doing, showed me how to use crutches, fetched me a wheelchair, sorted an appointment with the Fracture clinic for me with the Receptionist, and wheeled me out to the car. I don't think I could have been in better hands anywhere.
