"I was fortunate to be able to return home the next day"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a service user),

I suffered a TIA @ was admitted to Crosshouse Hospital via ambulance & A&E. I was taken to the ward where I received first class treatmentfrom the nurses, physios and all of the staff in the ward.  I was fortunate to be able to return home the next day so I would like to say a big thankyou to all the staff who treated me. Without your help I would not have made such a good recovery.

Dear skypj45,

Having a TIA can be very frightening. It is great to hear you had rapid assessment and care from all members of the team. Early treatment in the prevention of stroke is key and it is good to hear you were discharged home the next day.

Thanks for taking the time to post on care opinion. The staff will be delighted to read your feedback. I hope you are now recovering well.

Best wishes,

Christine
