"Extremely satisfied however still waiting for..."

Fantastic service having MRI scan, received my letter the start of January for appointment in Feb, called to ask if had an earlier date and got put on to cancellation list. Had a call the same day and was in at 8:15am the following day. On my arrival checked in 15 mins early and went straight in no waiting at all.

On to my only frustration/disappointment. Still awaiting my results, if it wasn’t for me calling to ask for an earlier appointment the wait time would have been 8 weeks from seeing GP to having MRI scan let alone results. GP informed me waiting time for MRI results is usually 5-7 working days to be told by the hospital it could be 4-6 weeks. I’ve already had to put on hold some exciting holidays and job opportunities as surgery is a possibility. If I would of had my results back by now I could possible plan for the year. It also gives me great concern on the waiting times for a possible operation. Unfortunately waiting times are the only negative feedback in my whole experience with Southmead.
