"Waste of time"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary

Had an apointment with the urgent care service as i was in a lot of pain. I had rang 111 but could only be seen 2 hours later.

I waited the two hours already in pain so i could be seen. I got there and spoke to a nice receptionist who was kind and clear. They stated that there was a little delay of an hour but nothing major. I agreed to wait as the pain relief would be wearing off soon.

3 hours later id still not been seen i was in a lot of pain. I was sitting on the floor as there were no seats. I was told no one could give me any pain relief an i wont know how long ill be waiting.

I eventually got seen by a doctor. I had no infection at all but was given antibiotics anyway. I went for help with the pain but was told to go to my GP on the monday (it was saturday night). I had no pain relief given nor offered when i saw them.

Was told to go back an sit there for hours again if nothing changed. I already knew that nothing would change as i dont have a water infection.
