"poor service"

About: New Cross Hospital

Can not believe the way in which my partner was treated, after falling when by himself and a neighbour called for an ambulance, where he was admitted to A &

E, where no attempt was made to contact a family member, it was only from continually ringing his mobile phone that we eventually got an answer to find that he was in new cross and transport had been arranged to take him home, rang on 3 occasions and was told each time that the hospital had discharged him, eventually managed to get him to answer his phone when was back in his home, sound very confused. When reach his home, found him sat in the dark, with no heating, just dumped in a chair and left, he was very confused, complaining of other ailments so rang 999 and was taken back to new cross and is still with you, where his care has been very hit and miss

Thank you very much for taking the time to post comments regarding your partner's recent patient experience.

I am sorry for any distress this matter has caused. To enable us to look further into your concerns, I would be grateful if you could contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01902 695362 or rwh-tr.PALS@nhs.net who can assist further.

Kindest Regards
