I was referred to a crisis team following a severe determination in my mental health. I came out feeling a lot worse than I was originally.
The staff don't seem to have a shred of empathy and are only interested in ticking you off. I was not taken seriously and told I was 'trying to label myself ' after discussing my symptoms, not before being fobbed off to something I know won't help me.
I eventually got through to someone else who agreed to refer me to a psychiatrist. This was back in October. I know a long waiting list is expected with psychiatrist appointments, but it was only when my GP contacted after chasing them up, she informed me they never even bothered sending a referral!
These people do not care about your mental health
