"Hand problem"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I dislocated and fractured my fingers, (3) three months ago and today, due to difficulties I am experiencing,  I had a further consultation with an “Orthopaedic Surgeon,”

My  appointment was with — Mr Deshmuk— who was very thorough and easy to talk to. I left the hospital feeling very content and certain that if my problems do not improve, they will be  sorted out -as far as is possible—in the near future.

I would like to add. I received an appointment within (2) TWO  weeks of my doctor asking for me to be seen. This is OUTSTANDING and  I am immensely grateful.

I would like to take this opportunity to say that I have, also, had the need to see “Mr Singh, Orthopaedic Consultant” over these past three years  following knee operations. On several occasions, when I had problems, Mr Singh  ALSO saw me within two weeks, or as near as possible.  Once again, I am immensely grateful.

I cannot leave out All the nursing staff. They were their usual selves, VERY helpful.. I have never been to this “Fracture Clinic” when this has not been the case..

Dear Janh

I have shared your posting directly with Mr. Deshmukh and also with Sister Travis in the fracture clinic. I know they will be delighted to read it; feedback is so valuable to us and we appreciate you taking the time to share this.

I too hope that things do improve and you don't need anything further but we can see that you will get excellent care if that is the case.

Take care & thank you again

Jennie
