About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

I went in today to Forth valley hospital in larbert to the Day surgery   unit for a minor Operation. I was just having 2 cysts removed but I was anxious and didn’t know what to expect! I was taking quick which helped as I wasn’t hanging about. I then was taken to David and Helen who where fantastic. Everything was explains to me. They kept me talking and laughing threw out the time I was in and before I knew it I was going home. Brilliant Staff this is what it should be like.

Thank you for letting us know how we did. Both Helen and I realise patients are going to be anxious, even when they are trying to be brave! We find having a blether about anything distracts from the mounting terror ( it makes our day pass more quickly too)

We hope everything is healing well and you weren't too sore afterwards.
