"I will be happy to return"

About: Borders General Hospital / Acute Assessment Unit

(as a service user),

Having been sent to the ward after a visit to A& E I was initially greeted by a friendly and very helpful receptionist. From there the nurse who took my temperature and blood pressure was equally welcoming and reassuring. To top it all, Dr Gemma could not have been more attentive and her manner was both kind and efficient. She could not have done more or been nicer. Thank you. You did all you could to resolve my problems, and although questions remain I will be happy to return to hopefully confirm the diagnosis and complete my treatment.

Dear Ray Stuart

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide your very positive feedback relating to your journey through AAU. The aim of the unit is to provide rapid investigation, diagnosis and care/treatment so I'm glad that you found the service you received was efficient and hopefully any return visits will ensure that you get the answers still outstanding.

I hope that you are feeling better and I'll share this feedback with the team - thanks again.

Best wishes

Lynne
