"Poor triage"

About: Barnet Hospital

My 24 year old daughter was advised to attend after collapsing at work. Paramedics attended her work and after the ecg was done told her to get a taxi to A&E. She arrived at 14:50 and at 18:30 had still not seen a Dr. and only had her blood pressure taken once even though she has hypertension and chronic renal disease.

I called to find out what the waiting time was and the clinic coordinator was very obstructive. I am a health professional myself and told him I was aware he could not give me patient details I just wanted to know why my daughter had not been triaged properly. He told me it was a four and a half hour wait and 110 people waiting.

I am writing this at 18:40 and she is still waiting!
