From the minute I walked in the room and sat down I got the impression the Dr thought I shouldn't be there.
Not once during the 5 minute appointment did the Dr introduce themself. The Dr then proceeded to imply something not once, but 3 times.
Anytime I tried to speak I was spoken over and if I asked any questions i was answered with another question.
Due to having complex physical difficulties and mental health issues I can't travel very well and could have saved my energy on more important things.
Upon reading the letter sent afterwards it didn't surprise me to read no mention of the implications made, but instead, to add insult to injury the Dr said ' it's all in my head', this from someone who may never suffer from what's wrong, whereas my family see what I suffer from as me suffering horribly & in tremendous pain, then the days afterwards when I'm too exhausted to move.
If I could name this person I would.
It's Drs (I use this team very loosely) who unfortunately give the good ones a bad name.
I would also add that the receptionist and the lady who showed me where to go were pleasant and polite.
And deserve far credit then they receive.
I wouldn't give Pinderfields on the whole a bad review.
I have had appointments in other departments and they've been nothing short of EXCELLENT.
"A terrible waste of time."
