"Great Medical Care When I Unexpectedly Needed..."

I returned home to London (I live overseas) for the Christmas period and unexpectedly had to seek medical care for persistent chest and stomach pain. Actually I went to the chemist first to seek initial help but they were suitably worried enough to refer me to this walk-in centre.

From registration to treatment, the care was really exemplary. The receptionist was especially kind and was very calming; I imagine she could see by the look on my face that I was pretty terrified. The triage assessment and the nurse were absolutely fabulous. She took her time assessing my systems and explained quite clearly what would happen. It was approximately a 45 minute wait before I was seen by the doctor who I have to say was fantastic!!! He absolutely took his time asking about and exploring all the symptoms and explained in detail what he would do, what he was doing and why. This was super professional work and the care was really outstanding. It seems an odd thing to receommend but if ever you take ill suddenly in central London, this is THE medical centre to seek good, professional help. Considering it was Christmas, I really have to take my hat off to all the staff at the centre. They were really exemplary and I made a point of telling them that as well. I am on the mend now back in The Netherlands and I know that that is absolutely due to the excellent care and advice of the doctor and the team at the centre.
