"My visit to the clinic"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Orthoptics

(as the patient),

I went to the orthoptics clinic to get my eyes checked because one of my eyes has a squint. First he checked if my glasses still worked and then he checked how well my eyes work together. I felt nervous at first but then I relaxed because he was very nice and he explained every thing and I understood because it wasn't to complicated. I actually enjoyed getting all the tests done on my eyes because it was good fun.

Hi Man Spider - I'm so pleased you enjoyed your visit. Lots of children get a little nervous about coming to the hospital but getting your eyes tested can be really fun. If you need to come back and see us remember not to be worried- we'll play lots more fun eye games next time too.
