They were remarkable the whole team, welcoming, supportive and very much understanding. They allowed me to have some comfort and peace of mind, with my son diagnoses and gave me information for his school and myself, of what to do should he have another onset. They found he had a Heart Murmur (which was not picked up at birth) although pick up, upon his 2nd onset being brought in from school and then on his third onset episode, the type of murmur has been detected. He is now awaiting for the call from the cardiologist, which can be at anytime between now and next.
Credit where credit due, brilliant team very much active and hands on. Although I had concerns they had not kept him in, being a 7yrs child with three onset episodes in the space of 6days, the where on point, in the care which was given to him and how they treated me as a worried concerned parent.
We cannot expect the NHS to always get it right, life is just not as simple as that. However, when they do they are deserving of people, providing good feedback from their experience.
Knowing my son is already referred for further investigation and holding detailed information, should I need to call 999 for him, I have paperwork to hand to the crew upon their arrival.
THANK YOU TEAM AND WELL DONE
