What I liked
I found the staff to be friendly and chatty to the patients and they had a lot of time for me and the others on my ward. There was only four of us in our bay. They made me feel very comfortable. The nurses were very caring.
I was most surprised how good the food was and there was plenty. Cups of tea were handed out frequently. I would highly recomend this hospital.
I went in at 7.30 am and I was operated on within the hour. I was kept in overnight as there was no one at home to look after me. The hospital arranged a volunteer driver to drive me home to Brighton the next morning.
My operation went very well and my frozen shoulder is so much better and free from pain. I seem to have full movement and it is such a relief. The surgeon is the best.
A big thank you to the doctor and all the staff on Albourne Ward.
