(as a service user),

Following an horrendous road accident in mid-December I was taken by ambulance to the A& E dept at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport. The treatment I received there was comprehensive and exemplary. I was most impressed by the way in which I was treated - as a person rather than a case. Dr AlSamawi, a Specialist Registrar in the dept was particularly empathetic and caring. Although the dept was very busy and the staff were rushed off their feet, everybody who treated me took their time and related to me as a human being and not just another patient.
