I attended my GP practice suffering from extreme pain and discomfort in my knee, who firstly arranged an xray to diagnose the problem. I was then referred by my GP to Orthopaedics for further review. I was initially seen by the muskoskeletal physiotherapist who performed a thorough examination and arranged for an MRI scan. Once the results of the scan were available I was provided with a follow up appointment with the physiotherapist, at which time we discussed the options available for me. I opted to have a steroid injection to relieve the pain and discomfort I was experiencing. I am delighted with the results of this and with my patient journey as a whole. All staff have been very professional and I would like my thanks to be passed on.
