What I liked

The staff in the Ortho department, from the consultant down, treated me with respect, explained every aspect of my treatment, the positive and negative impacts and took care of me when undergoing my various foot operations.

What could be improved

The food. It's genuinely appalling. Limited choice, hot food over cooked to the point it's excessively mushy. During my 4 day stay I had to have my family bring in something fresh....

Thank you very much for taking the time to give us your feedback about your recent stay at the Northern General Hospital. Its lovely to hear that you are so happy with the care you received.

We're sorry that you were unhappy with the food. Our catering department have recently conducted a survey in order to obtain opinions on the food and always appreicate receiving feedback.

Your comments will be passed on both to orthopaedic staff and our catering team.
