"My pre-assessment for Angioplasty"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Cardiology

(as the patient),

Attended my pre-assessment for Angioplasty yesterday.  A very pleasant nurse called me and apologied for any delay. (this was not necessary as I was taken on time)

The nurse looking after my care welcomed me into her treatment room, introduced herself and made me feel at ease.

After tests were taken and future procedure explained thoroughly she asked if I had any questions.

I would like to thank both staff members for making me feel valued which helped me with any anxiety I have for the future procedure.

thank you

Dear JintyM,

Thank you for your recent post on patient opinion. I am delighted that you had a pleasant experience from start to finish during your visit.

I will pass this on to all nursing staff within the department, they will be very pleased with your kind feedback which is much appreciated.

The nursing staff in preassessment strive to deliver person centred care to all patients to ensure they feel at ease whilst in our care.

Best wishes for your future surgery.

Kind Regards

Karen
