"Late Saturday night at Christmas"

I’m not even sure how I came to visit the hospital at 11pm as it is closed from 8pm but after calling 111 a GP called me back and said could I come down. Within half an hour I was at home with antibiotics. Had only really been hoping for something the next morning at best. Amazing service, very impressed and grateful. Think this was the local GP’s out-of -hours cover rather than the regular minor injuries service but it’s important to say when you have been treated efficiently and effectively. Especially delighted not to have to wait hours in a room full of infectious people and to start treatment sooner than expected.
