"Admitted to A&E new years day"

After calling 111 early on new years day after being very poorly overnight I had to go to A&E. I was seen very quickly and many tests performed almost immediately with the greatest of dignity. The staff were wonderful, courteous and friendly and very efficient. I was involved with all my care and my husband looked after aswell. I was admitted to AAU with pneumonia. I went home later after many tests having had oxygen, drips etc and give take home meds. The doctor spent a lot of time with me explaining things and making sure we both understood what to do.

Cannot praise the dept enough especially at such a busy time
