"12 week pregnancy scan not good experience"

About: Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

I had my 12 week pregnancy scan 2nd January. We were so excited. We got into the room and the lady just seemed really disengaged. She spent 3 minutes scanning me with little to say and then said she couldn't do the nuchal fold check. She didn't offer me to walk around or anything and didn't answer my question about what the alteratives were. I left the room feeling stressed. I then got weighted and asked that member of staff what I do now then to be told the alterative was a blood test less accurate. I was so upset. We have now spent £400 on private tests. This experience is not leaving me with any confidence knowing I am having to have a c section here in fact I am very worried.
