"Quick & Efficient"

About: Bideford Hospital

Had a horse riding accident, which I thought would heal with rest, unfortunately not the case, A&E was not needed, so went to this unit.

Seen within 10 minutes, well explained description of possible problems, X-Ray shortly after showing broken bones. Walker boot fitted, along with clear information of what I could, or more to the point, what I could not do!

Appointment made for the ND Hospital fracture unit for that afternoon.

The NHS slow???

Could not be more impressed.

Many thanks

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and I am glad you received fast and appropriate care in the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at Bideford Hospital.

I am sorry to learn you suffered from broken bones following a horse riding accident and I hope you were also well cared for in the Fracture Clinic at the North Devon District Hospital (NDDH).

I hope your fracture continues to improve and you are able to start horse riding again.

I have forwarded on your comments to the Manager of the MIU where they will be warmly received and shared with staff.

Kind regards

Jayne
