"Don’t even take your child there"

I understand that emergency departments are mostly very busy, especially during the winter time. But however the treatment I received today in the A&E department for children is disgusting and disrespectful. My daughter had an earring stuck In her ear. We arrived at about 22:17 on the 7th of January. After two hours we were told that we are next to be seen by the specialist that deal with throats,nose and ear. Only to be waiting 1hour and half more. I asked the nurse how long are we looking to wait as normally the waiting hours are 4 hours but mine seemed to look like this doctor will not come. Then the nurse turns around to say “the doctor said his very busy that he has other patients to look after that his very busy” I replied but my child is a patient too and is there no other doctor that can see my child. These nurses started replying to me like I don’t know what I am talking about. We waitied more than the expected time. What hospital has only one doctor to take care of the entire hospital. Because that’s what I was told. Unbelievable !
