(as a service user),

I like to be informed about what food is on the menu for the day, Sometimes I go out on leave and like to know what food I will be coming back to. Then I can decide if I need to buy alternative food when I am out.

The ward has a menu plan for the day and I can decide if it is something that I want to eat.

New Years day dinner was nice because the food was homemade and better than Christmas Day dinner because the vegetables were frozen and not fresh.

Thank you for your feedback. It is good to hear that you feel that you have a choice in deciding what you would like to eat and that there is a menu plan visible for service users.


All the food at Forest Close is homemade but occasionally frozen vegetables may be used.

We will take your feedback to the site services manager regarding the frozen vegetables on Christmas Day. It might be helpful if you feel able to raise this at your community meeting.
