"FAST TREATMENT AND REASSURANCE"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

I experienced quite a dramatic nose bleed which lasted for over an hour at home hence my attendance at A&E.

The Nurse Practitioners were very quick in reviewing me and arranging for the necessary specialist treatment (ENT).

The Doctor on call attended A&E and treated me promptly but there was an issue with my blood pressure which meant I could not leave the hospital until it was in the normal range.

I was transferred up to the ENT Ward so I could be monitored and was given appropriate review and treatment.

The Nurse and Doctor who attended to me were very professional and extremely supportive as I was quite anxious at the time.

I cannot thank them enough for their support and reassurance.
