"BE PROUD SUNDERLAND - BE VERY PROUD!"

I have had previous excellent experience of the Sunderland Eye Infirmary and logged a previous review to reflect the professional, expert and efficient care I received from start to finish at this hospital.

I have just finished additional treatment for my eye which has been a problem since I was a young boy. and, yet again, all the medical and support staff delivered treatment of the highest standard at an outstanding level of quality service,

The surgeon and his team who in particular looked after me deserve all the praise and credit for their amazing care - well done and my eternal gratitude.

I have read some negative reviews about the likes of parking facilities and other red herring issues,,,for me it must all be about the standard of patient care and results achieved in today!s cash strapped NHS under extreme, constant pressure: and Sunderland Eye Infirmary always floats to the top...the cream usually does!

I am not a local resident - to me it appears that in general, the people of Sunderland are not aware of this shining gem in their town...a world class organisation delivering a world class service...Sunderland should be extremely proud of this wonderful organisation and the people working there.
